The Nordic JoF7 is a fixed blade ‘Skinner’ type carving knife designed in collaboration with the Swedish hunting magazine “Jaktmarker och Fiskevatten”.  It features an ergonomic oiled wooden handle made of Bubinga (African Rosewood), checkered for optimum grip and uniquely designed for handling the butchering process.  Also available with Curly Birch handle – see the listing in our Ebay store for that model.

This blade design has the perfect ‘belly’ for exact slicing stokes for field dressing and quartering game

Made with high quality renowned Swedish Sandvik steel 12C27, with a hollow ground edge, and hardened to 57-59 HRC which helps to achieve a durable edge and maintain sharpness.
