VC Traders is looking for a new team mate. We have a vacancy for a sales and spare parts person. A traineeship may also be considered for the right applicant.
 
VC Traders inc Warragul Equipment Hire is a 40 + year, progressive, family & locally owned business. A business built on work culture, great people, global brands and community. With an emphasis on premium brands we have forged a reputation as one of Gippsland’s leading outdoor power equipment and hire machinery business’s.
 
We represent global companies such as Stihl & John Deere, and have developed a reputation as one of Australia’s biggest sellers of premium, hand forged axes and knives from the likes of Gransfors Bruk, Hultafors, Eka & Strongway Tools.
 
To compliment this we hire a range of machinery ranging from chainsaws and post hole diggers to elevated work platforms & excavators.
 
It’s a unique business, with long standing staff, now looking for another positive, driven, goal orientated team mate.  It’s a fast paced work environment where the work can be challenging, interesting and varied. We’re looking for an enthusiastic, team player, that is confident enough to work autonomously when required but enjoys the fun and banter of a great team environment.
 
A drivers licence and basic computer skills are essential as is being able to work on Saturday mornings. A good sense of humour is mandatory on the job as is a liking to meetings around our pot belly fire in winter. If you can use a chainsaw, throw an axe, or drive a zero turn mower without taking something out, or need training to do so, come down for a chat.
The successful applicant will be;
* Selling machinery and spare parts.
* Processing & ordering spare parts.
* Interpreting spare parts lists.
* Handling hire equipment enquiries.
 
On the job training is provided as is factory training from our representative brands.
