The Gransfors Bruk small carving hatchet has the same head as the Gransfors 410 Small Hatchet but with a specially designed, hand carved, red beech handle.  The handle has been designed in consultation with woodworkers to give a better grip.  Thanks to its light weight, the axe is excellent for carving small details.  The small carving hatchet comes as standard with a double sided ground edge.
