VC Traders inc Warragul Equipment Hire is a family owned company with well over 25 years experience in the hire and rental industry and the sales and service of outdoor power equipment.

We have an extensive range that offers solutions for everyone. From the professional user to the home gardener we can provide our customers a wide variety of quality equipment, supported by the highest levels of customer service and technical assistance.

VC Traders specialises in the sales and service of all outdoor power equipment. We sell and service world leading brands such as Stihl, John Deere, Greenfield , Victa, Rover, Briggs & Stratton, Subaru, Shell lubricants, Air Liquide gas, The Trailer Factory trailers and much more. We are very proud of our reputation as a leader within our industry.

In fact, we employ two Briggs & Stratton Master Service Technicians, two of only 6,500 worldwide. To be a Briggs & Stratton Master Service Technician is the highest accolade available to technicians in the outdoor power equipment industry.

Our hire fleet, before each item is hired, is thoroughly inspected, tested and cleaned, and all electrical items are tested and tagged for electrical and earth continuity using a Safe T Check professional portable appliance tester. Our entire fleet is meticulously maintained. We have a simple commitment to provide customers with modern, clean and reliable equipment and to offer a high standard of service.

The Hire and Rental Association of Australia, as a national industry association, maintains a close eye on changes to safety legislation and works with us as a member to develop national codes of business management to ensure safety measures are identified, adopted and implemented into our business.

Our opening hours are Monday to Friday 8-5pm and Saturday 8-12pm .

Meet the VC Traders Team:

Jason Kimm- Our Service Manager, a young father of two who has been with us for over 10 years. A Briggs and Stratton Master Service Technician whose technical brilliance and creative flair is rivalled by few. He has a thorough, precise work ethic and has proven to be a great teacher of his art. The best of the best.

James Harris – James Harris is a young father of two who comes with many years of experience from the automotive spare parts trade. He has an extremely thorough work ethic and prides himself on getting it right the first time, every time. His broad power equipment knowledge base and excellent mechanical aptitude sees him servicing our spare parts and sales department exceptionally well.

David Sawyer- Our Service Technician, a father of one who has forged himself a reputation as a clever technician with quick diagnostic skills. David's enviable technical knowledge, sees him producing quality work, day in day out. David is also amongst the elite in the world in this field, he is another of our Briggs and Stratton Master Service Technicians.

Scott Guy- Our apprentice technician who is mastering his craft with the two best teachers possible, Jason & David. Scott is proving to be a talented technician who has a skill for learning quickly. Scott will also prove in time, to be amongst the elite in his field.

Cameron Taylor- Our Hire Manager, a talented father of two, married to Andree, who is capable of turning his hand to anything. His hands on approach and broad skill levels ensures that our hire fleet is in the very best of hands. A creative thinker who has the ability of transforming his great ideas into functional, user friendly platforms.

Andree Taylor- Our Administration Manager. A mother of two, she is married to Cameron and manages our administration. An intelligent, focused lady who tames our paperwork, administration and accounting jungle efficiently and effectively.

Kerrie Saunders - Our Accounts Manager and our rock. A VC Traders veteran of nearly twenty years. Besides doing an amazing job at the coalfront of managing the phone lines and processing our accounts, she somehow keeps all the boys in line and well behaved, a tricky feat in itself.

Gavin Carpenter - The newest member to join our team. Gavin is a genuine, honest and hardworking team member who is working closely with Cameron to maintain our hire fleet.

Jodie Addison - Our Payroll Manager. A mother of three and married to Dean. Jodie is an enthusiastic, energetic lady who has the responsibility of making sure we get paid each week.

Dean Addison- Our General Manager. A father of three and married to Jodie. The thorough and organised leader of our gang who doesn't settle for second best. He pays attention to detail and encourages a fun, team environment.
